RESERVATIONS
only guarantee the rate quoted and shows a customer’s
preferences for a pickup location, drop-off location, time
of rental, date of rental and equipment type. For a
reservation to be bound by both parties it must be
guaranteed. A guaranteed reservation is one where
the rental company will hold a specific vehicle for the
renter and the renter agrees to pay for the rental of that
vehicles for the entire period (or a min of 3 days).
Guaranteed reservations are accepted by the rental office in
person and via fax. Please call the rental office
directly if you require a guaranteed reservation.
Reservations where a credit card has been provided
over the phone are subject to a $100 cancellation fee if
cancelled within 48 hours of the pick-up time.

VEHICLES
selected in a reservation are subject to availability at
time of pickup. If the equipment requested is not available,
Budget reserves the right to substitute a similar or better
vehicle at no additional charge to the customer. Customers
with Guaranteed Reservations have additional
safeguards and rights.

RATES reserved
online do not include applicable taxes, fees or surcharges,
additional accessories, waivers or coverage purchased at time of
rental, the required security deposit, or other applicable charges.
Charges will be provided at pick-up. Quotes do not include
additional days and/or mileage, applicable taxes, fees or
surcharges, additional accessories, waivers or coverage's purchased
at time of rental, the required security deposit, or other
applicable charges. Charges are subject to final audit. By signing
the Rental Agreement renter agrees that Budget may process rental
fees, any audit debits or credits, and parking violations onto
renter's credit card as they become known.

RENTAL MINIMUM AGE
is 18 years. Renter must have accepted major credit card in
own name. An underage daily fee applies for renters 18 to 24
years of age. Contact rental office for complete information
and details on underage rental policies.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
are not allowed unless approved by and entered on the original
Rental Agreement at the rental office. Additional Drivers
must qualify as would any renter and as such, incurs an additional
daily rental fee (additional driver fee). You cannot allow an
additional driver during the rental. If you do allow any other
person to drive the vehicle, you have violated the Rental Agreement
and void any insurance, damage waivers, and other terms and could
face criminal liability for others.

VEHICLES ARE
DUE BACK to the location and by the date and time as specified
on the Rental Agreement. Return of the vehicle to any other
Budget location other than that listed on the Rental Agreement will
result in an Unauthorized Location Return Fee which is a MINIMUM of
$300 and could easily exceed several thousand dollars, depending
upon where the vehicle is returned. Abandoned vehicles are
considered unauthorized returns and subject to the Unauthorized
Location Return Fee.

CREDIT CARD and
DEBIT CARD HOLDS. If a customer chooses to pay for a
rental with a credit card or debit card, the cardholder must be
present with his/her credit/debit card at the time of rental.
A MINIMUM $500 hold or advance charge will be placed against the
credit/debit card. Actual rental charges will be deducted from
the deposit and the balance of the hold released or credited. Note
that although Budget may release the hold on that day, the renter's
bank or credit card issuer may take up to 3 days to actually release
the funds. Budget is not responsible for any fees incurred due
to renter's bank not releasing funds on a timely basis. Rental
charges are subject to audit and additional charges may result.
Customers using Debit Cards must be aware that
Budget is not responsible for any overdraft or other bank fees
incurred by renter should Budget charge renter's Debit Card for
rental and other fees due under the Rental Agreement.
Advance notice to Renter will be attempted via phone. If
renter cannot be reached or does not return Budget's phone call then
Budget can only mail such notice.

TAX AND SURCHARGES.
There is an 9% New Hampshire State Rentals Tax and a
facilities/registration surcharge of 12.99% imposed on all rentals.

INSURANCE.
All renters and additional drivers
must have personal automobile or truck insurance, with full
collision and comprehensive coverage, in their name that is
transferable to the rented vehicle. Rates do not include
insurance. Renter should check with their insurance carrier or
agent for coverage. Under no circumstances will a personal
automobile insurance policy cover a moving truck. Budget offers an
optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) for a daily fee. When
purchased by the renter, Budget will waive their rights to collect
from the renter should any exterior damage to the vehicle occur
while on rent. Tires, Wheels, and Windshield not included in
coverage.
LDW is not insurance and
therefore has no deductibles. LDW is never mandatory. Renter's who
do not have sufficient collision and comprehensive insurance to cover the rental
vehicle cannot rent. As LDW is a Waiver Of Our Rights To Collect, Renter's
who purchase LDW do not need to have automobile insurance.
Budget reserves the right to refuse service to
any customer who cannot provide proof of sufficient insurance requirements.
Budget makes no assertion that renter's insurance will cover the rented vehicle,
regardless of whether renter was told by his Insurance Carrier or Agent that
sufficient coverage exists.
We have been in business over 34 years and have
seen numerous instances whereby renter's were under the belief their insurance
covered them when after-the-fact it was determined no coverage, or limited
coverage existed. The renter is personally liable to pay to Budget the
cost of replacing or repairing the rented vehicle, and for diminished value
thereof. Renter is also responsible for paying Loss of Use at the daily
rental rate for every day the vehicle is not available to be rented along with
Diminution of Value.
